David Brin

Dave joined MIT in 2023. Before MIT, Dave worked for four years as a vice president of research & development at Becton Dickinson, as well as sixteen years at C.R. Bard in a similar role. At Becton Dickinson, he led innovation in surgical areas and managed product development teams and intellectual property development. Dave holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a MEng in engineering sciences from Dartmouth College, and a JD from Suffolk University Law School.
