Alliance managers provide comprehensive, customized guidance, connecting faculty and other MIT researchers with the appropriate information, resources, and people they need to facilitate their commitments to MIT’s external partners and collaborators.

How We Help

  • Foster collaboration between internal and external colleagues, typically in connection with master research engagements and consortia.

  • Provide guidance and support to enable successful launch and implementation of engagements that include multiple Principal Investigators (PIs) and span multiple years.

  • Lend institutional knowledge to inform and support internal and external practices applicable to the engagement.

  • Navigate complex engagements and serve as a knowledge resource.
