Carline Durocher
Prior to joining MIT, Carline was the General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary for ADA Forsyth, Inc., an NIH-funded research institute focused on oral health initiatives and technologies. As General Counsel, Carline developed and implemented strategies to mitigate legal and business risks and protected the organization against emerging threats, litigation, and regulatory changes. She also served as the Vice President for Technology Development for ADA Forsyth and launched a leading oral health innovation platform – Forsyth dentech. Before that, Carline was a Senior Corporate Counsel for Draper Labs, a non-profit research and development organization that has a historic and close relationship with MIT. Carline led Draper’s commercial legal team, advising the CEO on strategic transactions and IP commercialization initiatives. She also advised Draper’s operation teams and commercial programs. Prior to going in-house, Carline was an associate for the law firms Bingham McCutchen, Pepper Hamilton, and Foley Hoag. Carline serves on the boards of Photomedics, Inc., Zoo New England, and The Rebecca Pomroy Foundation. Also, she is a Vice President on the Harvard Business School Alumni Board and an active member of the Dartmouth College alumni community.
